It was interesting that night blooming water lily didn't show me full opening of the flower inside a temple. It started to open around 7:00 p.m. but after a while, it completely stopped opening at 8:20 p.m. I didn't realize this....while doing a time-lapse shooting. But when I tried to make a video, I found so many same pictures after 8:30 p.m.
I wasted using shutter nearly 2000 times, which is of course, not good for camera itself.
I guessed the reason why it didn't fully open, was because it was too bright for the water lily. You know, this is a night blooming flower, so it may be confused to see the light during
night! "Is it a day or night?"
I imagined water lily concluded this was back to daytime! That's why it stopped opening flower!
But I was wrong!!! On the next day, which was yesterday, I did live stream an evening service together with Night blooming water lily!
Then it showed me full opening!
By the way, this morning at 10:30 a.m., I do have another service of Nirvana day. I am hoping....participants can enjoy watching this beautiful white flower since the flower closes around 1:00 p.m.
O.K....now it's time to make Sushi! I'm expecting to welcome two guests here at Koloa Jodo Mission today! One is from Canada and another is from Michigan!
Do you think they'd come?
Let's see this livestreaming video. Alooha and have a good day!
