I started asking this question since I was 20 years old. I was lucky I was able to travel many places in Japan, and later in European countries. I had read hundreds of books of philosophy.....but this question continued even after I became a monk. But now I'm very confident. I've found an answer that its answer was not far away, but it was here and now, just in front of me.
This morning, I am very happy to find a small fruits out of the Papaya tree which I cut two months ago. Even though it was cut or bent or discouraged, its flower bloomed and now trying to produce more fruits.....I thought that's life.
I always think I am lucky and happy. Sometimes, I have to admit I am unlucky. Since I'm a minister, however, I need to be happy and I think all the ministers have to happy, too. Our mission is to share happiness with people. Without being happy, how can I teach the way to happiness? It is my sincerest hope through this happy blog, I'd like to share happiness with you, because I know the way to happiness in this life and in the life after this life.
